“HISTORIC ST. MARY’S CITY” Maryland - MMPI produced the Visitor Center Orientation Film documenting the origins of the third permanent settlement in English America. The program was narrated by Ben Bradlee, and installed in the Historic St. Mary’s City Visitor Center in 2007.
“SOARING TO NEW HEIGHTS” - MMPI produced this 15 minute fundraising film for The 2007 Lab School of Washington gala fundraiser in Washington DC.
“LIFE WITH VCFS” - MMPI produced this 12 minute program for a gala fundraising event in Washington DC benefiting The Center for the Study of Velo Cardio Facial Syndrome of Syracuse University in 2007
“MORRIS LOUIS NOW: AN AMERICAN MASTER REVISITED”– MMPI photographed the artist’s major retrospective in High-Definition at The High Museum of Art in Atlanta, and the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden in Washington DC. Produced for the Estate of Morris Louis in 2007.
“A CENTURY OF PROGRESS, A FUTURE OF PREVENTION AND CURES” MMPI produced an 18 minute movie about the history of cancer research to open the 98th Annual Meeting of the American Association for Cancer Research at the Los Angeles Convention Center in 2007.

“DAVID SMITH CENTENNIAL” at the Guggenheim Museum, New York City – MMPI photographed the artist’s major retrospective in High-Definition Video for the Estate of David Smith in 2006.
“ONE WORLD ONE QUEST” – MMPI produced two films for and about the American Association for Cancer Research for gala fund-raising events in Philadelphia (2005) and Chicago (2006).
“THEARC” – Town Hall Education Arts Recreation Campus - MMPI produced a thirty-minute documentary narrated by General Colin Powell, and also a series of Public Service Announcements for fund-raising and promotional purposes featuring General Powell, Mrs. Alma Powell and other prominent Washingtonians. Produced for THEARC and its “ONE IN A MILLION CAMPAIGN FOR THEARC” from 2005 through 2007.
“IN THE REALM OF GODS AND KINGS: INDIAN ART FROM THE POLSKY COLLECTIONS AND THE METROPOLITAN MUSEUM OF ART” – MMPI produced this High-Definition program documenting a private art collection on exhibit at the Asia Society, New York City. Produced for the Asia Society in 2005.
“THE BUCK STARTS HERE” - MMPI produced this Visitor Center Orientation video, and several other short High Definition programs documenting how U.S. paper currency is manufactured. Produced for the U.S. Treasury Department: Bureau of Engraving & Printing, and museum designer Quatrafoil Associates of Laurel, Maryland. The programs are on permanent exhibition at the B.E.P. Western Currency Facility Visitor Center in Ft. Worth, Texas. 2004 – 2005
STORM KING ART CENTER - MMPI produced two tribute films honoring Storm King board members Cynthia Hazen Polsky and James H. Ottaway, Jr., for the annual event at The Metropolitan Club in New York City. Produced for the Storm King Art Center, Mountainville, New York in 2004 and 2006.

”THE KENNEDY CENTER HONORS” - CBS TV – For ten years, from 1993 to 2003, Mark worked as a Film Sequence Editor creating one or two five minute biographical films each year honoring various individuals for their life achievement in the performing arts. The films documented the lives of Charleton Heston, Willie Nelson, Sir Georg Solti, Aretha Franklin, Clint Eastwood, Jacques D’Amboise, Edward Albee, Mikhail Baryshnikov, Paul Simon, Victor Borge, Quincy Jones, and others. Produced by George Stevens Jr. and Don Mischer.
“THE LEVINE SCHOOL OF MUSIC: 25 YEARS AND COUNTING” MMPI produced this short film for the 25th Anniversary fundraising gala benefiting Washington DC’s renowned music school in 2003.
”TRIBUTE TO MICHAEL KAHN” - MMPI produced this 15 minute video honoring the Artistic Director of The Shakespeare Theatre in Washington DC, and the Director of the Drama Division of the Juilliard School in New York. Produced for THE WILL AWARD gala and The Shakespeare Theatre in 2002.

”AMERICA’S MILLENNIUM” - MMPI created numerous film segments for the New Year’s Eve Celebration of the 2000 Millennium at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC. Produced for CBS by George Stevens, Jr., Quincy Jones, and Steven Spielberg.
”ANDY GOLDSWORTHY: THE WALL THAT WENT FOR A WALK” - MMPI produced this 25 minute documentary about the artist creating his monumental Storm King Wall installation at the Storm King Art Center in Mountainville, New York in 1999.

MONDALE-FERRARO for President – MM was one of two editors who created all of the general election campaign commercials aired in the presidential election of 1984. Produced by Roy Spence of Consultants ’84.
”PORTRAIT OF AMERICA” – MM was the Film Editor and Contributing Cinematographer on three one-hour Turner Broadcasting series programs about “New Mexico,” “Missouri,” and “North Dakota.” Produced for Turner Broadcasting System by Wayne Ewing Films of Aspen, Colorado in 1983 and 1984.
”DAVID SMITH” – MM was the staff Producer and Film Editor on this Emmy Award winning thirty- minute film about the sculptor David Smith. Produced for the National Gallery of Art by Robert Pierce Films, Inc. in 1983.
EDUCATION
MM received a B.A in Speech and Drama from Western State College of Colorado in 1975; now called Western State University of Colorado. In 2003 Mark was selected as one of only fifty “Hall of Fame” alumni of WSC.
MM graduated from Bethesda Chevy Chase High School in Bethesda, Maryland in 1971.
