Muheim Motion Pictures, Inc. (MMPI) produces documentary film and video programs for broadcast, museum exhibitions, fundraising galas, corporate and non-profit educational and special events, as well as commercials. MMPI was founded in 1995 by Mark Muheim, (MM) who began his career as a freelance documentary film editor in 1975. In the four decades since then, Mark has earned numerous editing, producing, directing, writing, and photography credits; and has won two Primetime Emmy Awards (from four nominations) for his work on The Kennedy Center Honors - CBS, for “Outstanding Multi-Camera Picture Editing for a Special, Miniseries or a Movie”
From concept to delivery of the finished movie, MMPI works closely with every client to create the best possible product.
MMPI now has Sony PXW-FS7 Camera capable of 4K and most HD file formats, and complete AVID and Final Cut Pro editing capability.

“HERBLOCK: The Black and The White” - MM contributed 7 months to editing this feature documentary about Herbert Block, the editorial cartoonist for The Washington Post for over half a century. 2012 – 2013.
Program was completed by The Stevens Company, and Broadcast on HBO in 2013
“FROM DUST TO DREAMS: OPENING NIGHT AT THE SMITH CENTER” MM Edited the Show Opening Sequence and a short historical documentary for the Opening Night of The Smith Center for the Performing Arts in Las Vegas, Produced by The Stevens Company, Broadcast on PBS 2012
“DGA: MOMENTS IN TIME” MM Edited six short films for The Steven’s Company, shown at the 75th Anniversary DGA Awards in 2011. The films won an Emmy Award for The Stevens Company.
“AERA: LOST CITY OF THE PYRAMID BUILDERS”
MMPI produced this informational, fundraising video for Ancient Egypt Research Associates, featuring Archeologist/Egyptologist Mark Lehner and his two decades of work uncovering the city built by the Pharaohs in order to build the Pyramids at Giza. 2010
SERP: STRATEGIC EDUCATION RESEARCH PARTNERSHIP – MMPI produced an informational, fundraising video on new education initiatives across the country. SERP was started by The National Science Institute, Washington, DC.
AID VILLAGE CLINICS, KENYA – MMPI produced a series of educational DVDs for, and about, the Mbirikani Group Ranch Clinic in Kenya, Africa. Topics included “HIV/AIDS,” “TB,” “ACCIDENTS AND INJURIES,” “CAUSES AND PREVENTION OF DISEASE,” “PRENATAL AND CHILD HEALTH,” and “CLINIC TOUR.” All were produced in the native Maasai language (Maa) for the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Foundation in 2008 - 2009
